Hello Earthlings.
Hahahah. Yeah. Nature's miracles are so amazing aren't they?
Like this,
I so love the sunset. A myriad of colours.
An unexplicable thing that happens.
Watching it makes the unloved feel loved,
gives the hopeless hope.
makes the poor feel rich
makes the weak feel strong.
Makes all of us believe in things that we know might never come true.
Even then, we care.
I know I do and I know awesome people who have bothered to take a first step to helping the Earth cares.
Thank you, all you people out there who care!
And to everyone, even if you care or not,
Note that it's exactly ONE MORE MONTH to EARTH DAY!
Earth Day's April 22nd so yes. 1 MORE MONTH!
Visit
http://ww2.earthday.net/ (clickable) for more info.
I hope you do bother to find out more!
And to get the message clear across your minds and for a few laughs, look at what's below.
Get the message?
In case you can't read it,
it says, "STOP DESTROYING OUR PLANET. IT'S WHERE I KEEP ALL MY STUFF."
Hahah. Takecare and have a great week ahead people.
Peaceeeee:)

Yes people. It's a week more till the Earth Hour thing.
And to those nice people who adopted trees (like Cheryllim),
Thanks oh-so-very much(:
Hahah. It shows you all care,
Yes. I'm stupid, lame, whatever.
But we can't deny that we're causing harm to the Earth
So even if you call me lam/stupid/retarded/childish/WHATEVER,
I don't really care.
As long as you know the importance of the Earth and can be bothered to help
(Start by adopting a tree [A FAKE BUT FREE TREE] from this blog!)
I don't mind, actually:D
Hahahas. So yeah, have a great weekend ahead
WHILE TRYING TO MINIMISE YOUR CARBON FOOTPRINT!
Thaaaannnkkks y'all:)
Heeeheee, peace out!

What's up, peeps.
Kay, so I was watching MTV and yeah I've seen the advertisement a few times, not just on MTV but I just thought that it'd be cool if I posted it here. So right now I think you all would be asking me what I'm talking about? Lemme break it down for you:
What: Earth Hour
When: Saturday, 28 March 2009. 8.30 pm - 9.30pm (1 hour)
Where: In your very own homes!
Why: To help go green and save the Earth. (Watch the advertisement to find out more.)
How: Help by switching off your lights for an hour from 8.30pm-9.30pm on the 28th of March 2009. This small effort can do more than you know. Imagine if everyone did it? We would not only save the Earth, we can save money & fossil fuels too! How cool would that be?
So I'm requesting that you all, please help. You don't have to switch off ALL the lights in your house if your parents don't like it. You can just switch off one or more than one lights in your room. It'll help just the same. So please, please, please help.
Thank you for bothering to pay attention to the boring announcement I just made.
Peace Out(:

Okay, I'm seriously TOO lazy to continue.
But I'm NOT TOO LAZY to give tips.
Hahaha.
Okay, I can't really think of any good ones right now.
Er,
Lemme see,
You can recycle alot of things, you know.
Well, if you're up for a simple idea to put into action,
Try using an empty ice cream tub as a coin bank.
Of course, it won't look so nice but you'll find a way around that.
How?
After eating the ice cream, just carefully use the pen knife and slit a small hole on the cover.
Make sure the hole's big enough to put in coins.
If you want, use adhesive glue to seal the cover to the tub itself
Of course, don't forget to wash the tub before doing anything!
If you're up for a mildly difficult but good and creative idea to put into action,
Try using a can/bottle (small) of soda as a potpourri bowl.
You can decorate it as you please.
How?
Very carefully cut the soda can/bottle into half, a few centimetres from the bottom, after you've finished the soda.
(Get help with this one if you're cutting a can. The metal bits may cut you)
Put in some dried flowers or buy some potpourri to put in.
Cover it with a nice piece of lace and secure by tying a ribbon around it.
Remember to wash it first!
And if you're up for a challenging idea to put into action,
Try creating your own desktop aquarium using a spaghetti sauce jar
Decorate as you like later.
How?
Get a clean spaghetti sauce jar (use a bigger jar if you think this is too small)
Put in pebbles and a goldfish
Don't forget real sea plants. They need to photosynthesise.
Put under a place with good temperature and sunlight.
And of course, feed your fish daily.
As for how to change the water, don't ask me.
Go try putting your fish in a plastic container (with water)
And wash your jar (once every two/three weeks/when it's dirty)
then put your fish back after you're done washing it.
viola! You're done. Haha. Isn't it so therapeutic?
Well, it's better to ask for permission first if you're doing the last one.
You may have to spend some $$ to buy the fish and plants and food.
Email me if you want more tips and I'll post some more:)
Peace out, yo:D

Yes, I know I promised but I won't continue 'cause I'm sick.
Hahah. But for some wise humour, did you know that HOMEWORK HURTS TREES?
Haha. I didn't think of that before.
Well, it doesn't really hurt trees as much as it causes hurt to your brain la!
Hahahh. Okay, seriously. If you use two sides of the paper then it's fine.
I hope you do. Or I'll murder you. Haha (Kidding la!)
And here's a tip,
If you're folding origami or something, use rough paper (the ones with neat writing if you want to)
Not only do they fold as well as regular unused paper,
They help use up unwanted paper in your home,
They save the Earth, and,
They look like they have abstract decorations on it.
Idk about you but I would really like it!
Haaha. See, being creative is worthwhile but not at the risk of damaging the Earth.
Yeah. Look out for more tips, if you want. Provided I'm not too lazy to post:)
Hahah.
Peace out, yo:D

To get started,Basically, everyone who learns science knows that our Earth is the ONLY planet where life is found and have conditions suitable for life. It is the 3rd Planet (Mercury, Venus, Earth and blahblahblah) from the Sun and Earth was formed about 4.54 billion years ago. The outer layer of the Earth that blocks harmful UV rays is called the Ozone Layer. This useful outer layer also traps greenhouse gases, producing warmth just of enough temperature for humans and animals.Unfortunately, over the years, our needs have changed and so has life. Things have mostly become more high-tech and jobs are done more easily thanks to machines. Since life has improved drastically from the past, the damage that is done is worse than what used to be. Most of the things we do now, produces carbon dioxide, one of the greenhouse gases. One of the main causes is incineration of rubbish. The plastic bags we use to throw our rubbish in is non-biodegradable. Which means it would take about 100 years or so to degrade and with Singapore's big amount of daily rubbish, imagine what our Earth would be like! And that's just Singapore itself. What about other countries? It would be FAR WORSE! And, plastic is partly petroleum. It produces a REALLY FOUL SMELL when burnt and it also produces chemicals THAT HARM THE HUMAN BODY WHEN TAKEN IN. But, by now, people who are curious to know would be asking, why do we even use plastic? Why don't we use paper or styrofoam? Well, plastic is light and waterproof, unlike paper, which tears easily upon contact with water. Styrofoam doesn't tear and it IS light like paper and plastic and buoyant but it is sort of poisonous to young children and can't be gotten rid of unless we use a special chemical and that would be FAR TOO EXPENSIVE.Yeah, I shall stop here. Will continue ASAP! Peace out, yo:)

Hellohello.
Hahha. Yes, this is the first ever post.
And yes, I AM lame by creating this blog.
It won't work but I'll give it a shot all the same.
Well, basically this blog was created to raise awareness about
-Global Warming
-Greenhouse effect
-The damage alr done to the Earth
-What you can do to help make a difference.
So yeah, I won't really go into detail in each aspect but I do hope you take this seriously.
As in, yeah, I'm sure we can have fun and stuff but please take what I'm saying seriously (except for the "hahah" part & all the jokes & stuff la)
If you think that there are some bits I need to improve on/anything you want to see/share, do email me at black_crumpler@yahoo.com.sg
Meanwhile, I'll do my best to keep this blog from dying.
Hahah. Peace Out, yo(:
